Raising Funds for Woodford State School P-10

I am the chaplain at Woodford State School P-10

Our School chaplaincy currently operates as a 2-day service and is partially funded by the community.

At Woodford State School Chappy Amy supports children and young people as they navigate their school years from Prep to Year 10. 

Chappy Amy runs programs to assist students in building social & emotional resilience, and dealing with such issues as bullying, family breakdown, friendships and grief & loss. 

Chappy Amy also believes in supporting the greater community so she holds a Breakfast Club and gives food hampers to families in need as well as collects items for hygiene packs for the outback farmers.

As well as running programs, Chappy Amy spends time interacting with students in a range of ways, from holding one-on-one conversations, to aiding in the classroom to further productivity and learning.

This service makes a positive impact in the Woodford community.
